Smugglers' Trod is a (Yorkshire Coast Group) Long Distance Walkers' Association event based in Robin Hoods Bay. It is a circular route of 26 miles across moors and through forests with a 16 mile alternative route. Competitors' serial numbers and times are noted at designated check points. Scarborough & District Search & Rescue Team had previously provided comms. on this event. Cleveland RAYNET Group provide comms. between check points and HQ. |
