The Tail Car with an APRS tracker can be seen near the bottom centre. The trackers sent their location every 30 seconds. Next time we will try a setting of 10 seconds. The portrait orientation photograph shows the mast and aerial used for the VHF and UHF voice channels. The mast and aerial near the police command vehicle was used for receiving UHF APRS tracker signals. The car behind the police inspector applauding the finishing runners is the race Lead Car. It drove at about 12 mph in front of the lead runner. The clock on the roof displayed the elapsed time since the starting pistol was fired. A RAYNET operator with an APRS tracker was in the car with the Event Organiser.
